A 42-year-old woman, identified as Vinti, allegedly gave poison to her two minor daughters, 13-year-old Sapna and 11-year-old Saraswati, before taking her own life in Chachrauli village, Haryana. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, leaving the community in shock and grief.
Following the incident, all three were rushed to a nearby hospital. Tragically, Vinti and her daughter, Sapna, were declared dead upon arrival. Saraswati is currently undergoing treatment, with her condition remaining critical. Authorities are closely monitoring her progress, hoping for a positive outcome.
The police have initiated a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic event. The bodies of Vinti and Sapna have been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death and identify the poisonous substance used. Bhopa SHO police station Vijay Kumar has assured that all angles will be explored to uncover the reasons that led to this extreme step.
This tragedy is the latest in a string of disturbing events in Haryana, where a 38-year-old woman identified as Sonia poisoned her 15-year-old daughter Palak and son Pradeep in Sonipat district. Sonia and Palak died, while Pradeep is in critical condition.
