Ahed of the Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra, the Haryana government on Sunday issued an order suspending bulk SMS services and mobile internet in the Nuh district for a full day. The decision was made in light of the violence that marred the same yatra the previous year.

Anurag Rastogi, the additional chief secretary for home affairs for Haryana, issued an order suspending internet service in the district from 6 p.m. on Sunday to 6 p.m. on Monday. Tight security measures have been put in place by the Nuh police to guarantee a smooth yatra. The territory is dotted with tactically placed dog teams, bomb squads, mounted police, commando units, and local police.
