Haridwar: Woman accuses neighbour of stalking, installing hidden camera

A resident of Ambedkar Nagar, within the Jwalapur Kotwali police station jurisdiction, has filed a complaint against their neighbor, Ram Singh, alleging harassment. According to Police Officer Ramesh Tanwar, the complainant accuses Ram Singh of exposing himself through his window, teasing and harassing her whenever possible and installing a camera on his roof to target her residence.

New Delhi: A shocking incident has come to light from Uttarakhand's Haridwar where a woman has complained to her neighbour. She claims that her neighbor follows her, makes obscene gestures and when she goes to the terrace, he opens the window and watches the scene. Furthermore, the accused has allegedly installed a camera on his water tank to surveil her. The Jwalapur Kotwali police in Haridwar have registered a case based on the victim's complaint and have initiated an investigation into the matter.

Furthermore, the accused allegedly follows her whenever she leaves her home, making her feel constantly unsafe. The police are investigating these disturbing allegations.

Police investigation underway 

The police have registered a case against the accused based on the woman's complaint and have initiated an investigation. As part of the investigation, the police removed the camera installed on the accused's roof and issued a warning to him. The police are continuing to investigate the case and will take further action based on the evidence that comes to light.

Meanwhile, the accused has denied the allegations, claiming that he only opens the window facing the victim's house to enjoy the weather. The police have recorded his statement as part of the investigation.
