In a shocking incident, a 35-year-old man was gunned down by unidentified attackers in Delhi’s affluent Greater Kailash neighborhood on Thursday. The victim, Nadir Shah, was reportedly targeted by members of a notorious gang linked to fugitive criminals. Sources indicate that the attack was orchestrated by a gangster associated with Lawrence Bishnoi, the infamous figure implicated in the 2022 murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

According to the sources, Nadir Shah was fatally shot by assailants on motorcycles as he stepped out of a gym. Despite being rushed to a private hospital in Saket, doctors declared him dead on arrival. The police quickly arrived at the scene and collected crucial evidence, including bullet projectiles and empty cartridges found near the crime spot.

Links to gang rivalries

According to police sources, Nadir Shah was connected to Rohit Chaudhary, a jailed gangster and rival of Lawrence Bishnoi. Investigators are exploring all possible motives, including personal vendettas and escalating gang rivalries. “The investigation is ongoing, and we are probing all angles, including Shah's ties to criminal factions,” stated a police official.

Bishnoi gang claims responsibility

Rohit Godara, a close aide of Lawrence Bishnoi, has publicly claimed responsibility for the murder. The Bishnoi gang’s involvement further highlights the deep-rooted gang violence simmering in the capital city, where rival factions often engage in brutal acts of vengeance.

Delhi police are tightening security measures in response to the killing, as the incident adds to the growing list of violent crimes tied to notorious gang networks.
