A shocking video of a physical altercation between a school principal and a math and science teacher in Gujarat has gone viral on social media. The footage captures the principal of a school in Bharuch repeatedly assaulting a faculty member, prompting an official investigation by education authorities. The disturbing clip shows the principal slapping the teacher 18 times within a span of 25 seconds, allegedly in response to complaints regarding his teaching methods.

Incident unfolds in Bharuch’s Navyug school

The incident took place at Navyug School in Bharuch district, Gujarat. A CCTV camera positioned above the principal’s desk recorded the violent confrontation, exposing how the head of the institution resorted to physical aggression against one of his teachers.

Details of the altercation

The principal, identified as Hitendra Thakor, reportedly assaulted math and science teacher Rajendra Parmer due to dissatisfaction with his classroom teaching approach. The video opens with Parmer seated in the staff room alongside other teachers. Within moments, Thakor rises from his chair, approaches Parmer, and begins attacking him. He proceeds to drag the teacher to the floor by pulling his leg before delivering multiple slaps.

Other faculty members present in the room rushed to intervene and put an end to the altercation. The footage concludes with Thakor returning to his seat after verbally abusing Parmer.

Investigation underway

According to a report by India Today, Parmer had previously faced allegations of verbal abuse in the classroom. Following the incident, the District Education Officer launched an inquiry and has taken necessary actions. Further investigations are currently in progress
