Despite legal protections and affirmative action policies, marginalized caste groups, particularly Dalits and Adivasis, continue to face systemic discrimination in access to education, employment, healthcare, and social opportunities. Discriminatory practices include social segregation, violence, economic exploitation, and denial of basic rights and dignity. Efforts to address these issues involve legal reforms, awareness campaigns, and grassroots activism, yet challenges persist due to ingrained social norms and attitudes. Addressing caste-based discrimination remains a critical aspect of Indias journey towards social justice and equality.
