Goons attack NCP leader Dr Jitendra Awhad's car in Mumbai, three detained

Some shocking visuals have surfaced from Maharashtra's Mumbai, where Former Cabinet Minister and NCP leader, Dr Jitendra Awhad experienced an attack on his car by three individuals near the freeway road while en route to Thane. 

According to the sources, the incident occurred on Thursday, causing a commotion and raising security concerns. Fortunately, Awhad escaped unhurt. 

Taking swift action in the case, the local police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the culprits behind the attack. 

Security has been heightened in the area to prevent any further incidents. Meanwhile, the authorities are examining CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses to gather more information about the assailants and their motives.

Meanwhile, it is important to note that the attack come a couple of days after Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLC Amol Mitkari’s car was vandalized in Akola. In connection with the case, the police have detained four. The NCP leader, however, held a protest outside the district Superintendent of Police office alleging that police are not taking any action against the people involved and trying to shield them.
