Saurav, a delivery boy present at the time of the accident, narrated how he and another delivery boy rushed to his rescue. They broke the car windows as the doors were closed from the inside. Despite efforts to save him and taking him to a hospital that was just around the corner, he succumbed to injuries.
The accident has caused eyebrows to be raised among residents, who are asking the authorities to erect warning boards or barricades near the accident-prone spot. Residents believe that this would prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
The police are conducting an investigation into the accident and have also made the family of Bhati aware of his untimely death. The accident is indicative of the risks of over-reliance on GPS navigation systems without due road safety measures.
