Goa Murder: CEO mom was unhappy with court ruling; reveals investigation

The horrific murder that has created headlines on Tuesday has taken another turn. According to the Nidhin Valsan, Superintendent of Police, North Goa on said that the accused woman (Suchana Seth), who allegedly killed her minor son in a Goa hotel, seemed unhappy with the recent proceedings of the court which allowed her husband to spend time with their child on Sunday.

Investigation also revealed that the accused and her husband have been involved in divorce proceedings since the year 2022. 

Accused CEO in police custody now

According to officials on Tuesday, the CEO of a Bengaluru start-up business was detained on suspicion of killing her four-year-old kid in a Goa hotel.

The accused woman was apprehended in the Chitradurga district of Karnataka, according to the police, while attempting to escape in a taxi with her son's body put in a bag.

According to police, once they questioned the woman, she admitted to them that she had left her son at a friend's house in Goa. Now, after the preliminary investigation, the accused has been confined to six days of police custody by a Goa court.

What does post-mortem reveals?

The doctor informed the media persons that the toddler was strangled to death. The accused used a pillow or a cloth. The child doesn't appear to have been strangled with hands. It appears as though a cushion or another material was utilised. 

Dr Kumar Naik, the administrative officer of Hiriyur Taluk Hospital in Chitradurga, informed reporters that the child's rigour mortis has subsided.

The body of the toddler has been handed over to his father Venkat Raman in Karnataka's Chitradurga after the post-mortem.
