Recently, traffic on the Kotdwar-Pauri highway came to a sudden halt when debris from a hill fell onto the road, trapping vehicles stranded on the road. The incident reportedly happened about four kilometres above Siddhbali, which is between Kotdwar and Dugadda. A vehicle also got damaged due to debris falling from the hill.
