New Delhi: Anti-social elements in Ghaziabad caused unrest after remains of dead animals were discovered inside the Siddha Baba temple in Mahmoodpur village, under the jurisdiction of Tila Mod police station, on Thursday night. The incident came to light when devotees arrived at the temple on Friday morning to offer prayers. Shocked by the sight, a large number of villagers gathered, expressing anger and demanding immediate action from the authorities.

Animal remains found scattered across temple grounds

The remains of dead animals were found scattered in several areas of the temple premises. According to the locals, it appeared to be a deliberate act aimed at disturbing the peace in the area. Villagers immediately reported the incident to the police, prompting a rapid response from law enforcement.

Police examine CCTV footage 

Upon receiving the information, Tila Mod police arrived at the scene and quickly removed the remains from the temple. The police have videographed the entire situation and have started examining CCTV footage from cameras installed around the temple to identify the perpetrators.

A formal complaint has been lodged by the temple priest, and a case has been registered against unknown individuals. Authorities have assured the public that the search for the culprits is underway, with both manual efforts and electronic surveillance being used to expedite the investigation.

"The culprits responsible for this act will be identified and apprehended soon," said a police official, urging the community to remain calm as investigations continue.
