UP News: In a harrowing incident that has sent shockwaves through the community, four men have been arrested for the brutal murder of a 29-year-old man, allegedly to use his skull in a tantric ritual aimed at achieving immense wealth. The victim, Raju Kumar Sah, was found decapitated near a drain on June 22, leading to a police investigation that uncovered a dark web of occult practices and chilling motivations.

The Discovery of a Body: A Gruesome Find Sparks Investigation

The decapitated body of Raju Kumar Sah was discovered along the Loni-Bhopra road under the jurisdiction of the Tila Mod police station. Following this grim discovery, authorities registered a murder case, setting off an investigation that would reveal the shocking details behind his death. On August 15, police apprehended two suspects, Vikas Gupta and Dhananjaya Sehni, who were linked to the murder.

Unraveling the Motive: The Promise of Wealth Through Dark Rituals

On December 8, police made further arrests, taking into custody Vikas Parmatma (24), Narendra alias ND (32), and brothers Pawan Kumar (40) and Pankaj (33). According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Nimish Patil, these men were involved in occult practices and had convinced their accomplices that performing a tantric ritual with a human skull could yield them between ₹50-60 crore. 'Parmatma revealed during interrogation that he met ND in May, who introduced him to the occult practitioners,' said DCP Patil. This meeting marked the beginning of a sinister plot that would lead to Sah's death.

Targeting the Vulnerable: Choosing an Easy Victim

Sah, an orphan from Motihari, Bihar, who worked at an eatery near Kamla Market in Delhi, was seen as an easy target due to his vulnerable status. On June 15, Parmatma and his associates decided to lure him into their deadly scheme. They befriended Sah under false pretenses and invited him for drinks and drugs at Parmatma's rented house in Tahirpur on the night of June 21.

The Night of Horror: A Calculated Murder

That fateful night turned into a nightmare as Parmatma, Gupta, and Sehni strangled Sah while he was intoxicated. They then hanged him from a ceiling fan before transporting his lifeless body to Tila Mod. There, Parmatma beheaded Sah and preserved his skull for the ritual. 'Parmatma meticulously skinned and cleaned the skull before handing it over to ND,' authorities reported. However, following the arrest of Gupta and Sehni, panic ensued among the practitioners who ultimately concealed the skull in a drain near Majlis Park metro station.

Legal Consequences: Arrests Made Under Serious Charges

All four accused have been charged under relevant sections for murder, destruction of evidence, and criminal conspiracy at Tila Mod police station. This disturbing case highlights not only the depths of human greed but also the dangerous allure of superstition that can lead individuals down a path of unspeakable violence.
