Doctors protest against Kolkata rape incident. (ANI)
Under the leadership of Sanjeev Sharma, the Metropolitan President of Ghaziabad BJP, a significant protest was held today at the Ghanta Ghar. The demonstration was organised to condemn a recent heinous incident that took place in Kolkata. Participants gathered around the statue of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, lighting candles to symbolise their disapproval and demand for justice.
The protest witnessed the active participation of several notable BJP members. Among them were Pradeep Chaudhary, the media in-charge of Ghaziabad BJP; Udita Tyagi, the Metropolitan President of the Women’s Wing; Raniita Singh, the Metropolitan Vice President; as well as Sheetal Chaudhary, a councillor from Ward 9, and Deepti Arora, along with other dedicated activists.
In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Dr. BP Tyagi has been trying to reach the Police Commissioner for the past five days by calling the official government mobile number. The PRO answers the calls, stating that the Commissioner is occupied with meetings.
Today, during a meeting of doctors discussing the Kolkata issue, Dr. Tyagi made a call in front of everyone, revealing the truth about the communication difficulties.

Protesters expressed their urgent call for justice, specifically targeting the West Bengal government led by Mamata Banerjee. They voiced strong support for the female doctor who was at the center of the Kolkata incident. The demonstration underscored the BJP’s firm stance and deep concern over the incident, emphasising the need for immediate action and accountability from the state authorities.
The rally was marked by a unified demand for justice and highlighted the BJP's commitment to addressing grievances and advocating for those affected by such distressing events.
