Gangster Sanjeev Jeeva, Mukhtar Ansari’s aide, shot dead in Lucknow

Gangster Sanjeev Maheshwari, alias Jeeva, was shot dead at the Lucknow Court premises on Wednesday. Jeeva was accused in many criminal cases. He is also said to be one of the close aides of Munna Bajrangi.

According to the preliminary reports the assailants came in the attire of lawyers and fired inside the court premises. Reportedly, a girl was also injured at the scene. Jeeva was brought to the court for the hearing of a case.

Sanjeev Maheshwari Jeeva, was a close aide of gangster turned politician Mukhtar Ansari, who was also an accused in the murder of BJP MLA Brahamadutta Dwivedi, in which Mukhtar Ansari was also an accused.

According to the officials, a police constable and a girl also got injured in the open fire, and are now admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment.
