Moreover, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida also arrived in Delhi for the G 20 Summit soon after Sunak.
The countdown for the highly awaited mega gathering of global leaders at the G20 Summit has begun. Leaders of many nations have been arriving at New Delhi one after the other since yesterday, September 7. The Summit will have the presence of some of the biggest leaders of the world including US President Joe Biden, France President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian President Justin Trudeau, IMF MD Kristalina Georgieva, and many more.
While Biden has departed from the US for India, leaders such as Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Argentina President Alberto Fernandez, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and others have already reached the capital city.
Moreover, Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was the first to arrive in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Many world leaders and dignitaries have already reached New Delhi for the G20 Summit, to be held on September 9 and 10. There are many more who are on their way and are expected to reach the Indira Gandhi International Airport by the end of the day.

The G20 Summit will see the 25 world leaders and their accompanying delegates in this gathering. As heads of different nations and organisations have started to arrive in Delhi, many more are yet to reach the destination.
US President Joe Biden after testing COVID-19 negative is now on his way to India to participate in the Summit. He is expected to land around 6.55 pm today and he will be received by Minister of State VK Singh, as per media reports.
Apart from Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, UAE President HH Shaikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan are among the G20 leaders who have already confirmed and will be arriving for the summit.
China’s Premier Li Qiang is expected to arrive by 7:45 p.m. Moreover, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has also confirmed his visit to India for the G20 Summit.
