 Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed Team India to his residence following their T20 World Cup victory, accompanied by Jay Shah. The meeting celebrated the team's triumph, highlighting their exceptional performance in the tournament. 

2) Delhi University cancels LLB examinations amid ongoing paper leak controversy

Amid controversy regarding cancelling UGC-NET exams, NEET UG results, Delhi University's Faculty of Law has now issued a surprising notice on Wednesday, announcing the postponement of the exams without providing specific reasons which was scheduled for Thursday. The notice, released under the directive of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, stated, "The examinations of LLB II, IV, VI term scheduled from 4th July are postponed."

3) Rahul Gandhi to visit Hathras to meet kin of victims

The Leader of Opposition and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras where the stampede at ‘Bhole Baba’ who is also known as Jagat Guru and Narayan Sakar Hari's event has claimed more than 121 lives so far and left several injured. Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal while speaking to media said, "It was an unfortunate incident. The leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha (Rahul Gandhi) is planning to visit Hathras. He will go there and interact with the people who are affected..."

4) Hathras horror: Satsang organizers among six detained after deadly stampede

In a heartbreaking turn of events, a religious gathering in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, resulted in the tragic deaths of 21 individuals, leaving many more injured. The incident occurred during a satsang, a spiritual discourse, which saw an overwhelming attendance, far exceeding the expected numbers. The organiser of the satsang, along with five others, has been arrested in connection with the stampede. The Satsang, organised by a local religious group, was anticipated to be a peaceful and spiritual event. However, as the crowd began to swell beyond the venue’s capacity, chaos ensued.
