Mann Ki Baat 2024: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi devoted his monthly radio program on Sunday. In the 109th edition of his 'Mann Ki Baat' broadcast, Modi hailed the participation of female police and security forces in this year's Republic Day parade on January 26th.

"Seeing the women's contingents marching dutifully filled everyone with pride," he remarked.

The Prime Minister also referenced the recent inauguration of the Ram Mandir temple in Ayodhya, saying the occasion profoundly moved the country. He characterized Lord Ram as an inspiration for India's constitution-makers.

"Ram is in everyone's words, Ram is in everyone's heart," Modi said.

In addition, he applauded 13 female athletes who received the Arjuna Award this year for excelling in major sports tournaments and carrying India's flag.

Modi noted that 2023 marks the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution and the Supreme Court. He praised the constitution as a "living document" enshrining citizens' fundamental rights.

The Prime Minister further stated that many grassroots changemakers honored with Padma Awards have transformed the prizes into "people's Padmas."

In his first radio address of the new year, Modi spotlighted themes of women's empowerment, constitutional principles and unsung heroes improving lives far from the limelight. His remarks aimed to inspire national unity and pride in India's democratic values as the country celebrates its republic's 75th year.
