A day after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi concluded his 63-day-long Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Mumbai, members of the opposition bloc INDIA gathered in Mumbai to emphasize the importance of a national Mahagathbandhan. The yatra, which commenced from violence-affected Manipur, had a significant impact on the political landscape.

The event saw opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi targeting the BJP-led Centre for its alleged misuse of central agencies and electronic voting machines (EVMs) against the opposition. He asserted that without "EVMs, ED (Enforcement Directorate), and CBI," the ruling party would struggle to secure victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
