In the early hours of Sunday, a devastating accident took place in Noidas Dankaur area, resulting in the tragic loss of four lives and leaving 24 others seriously injured. The incident occurred when a canter, transporting a band party, collided with a stationary truck following a tyre burst.Accident detailsThe unfortunate incident happened around 2:30 AM as the canter was en route from Meerut to Faridabad. The vehicle, carrying members of the Sharma Band Party, experienced a tyre burst, causing the driver to lose control. This led to a catastrophic crash into a parked truck on the roadside. The collision was so severe that it resulted in the immediate deaths of four individuals: Sompal (50), Rohit (25), Raju (35), and Arjun (38).Casualties and injuriesThe canter was carrying 30 passengers at the time of the accident. Out of these, 24 passengers sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a private hospital for emergency treatment.
