A horrifying incident has come into the spotlight in which the body of a young woman was found behind closed doors in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. According to the society supervisor, he noticed that a foul smell was coming from the room after which he reached out to the police and informed them about the entire incident.The police have reached the spot and an investigation is underway. The brother of the deceased has demanded scrutiny of the girls call details, indicating that they might find something in that.Where did the incident take placeThe incident took place in Block No. 22 of PM Awas Yojana in Sharda Nagar, Bijnor. At around 10 am, the societys supervisor, Adarsh Dwivedi, inspected the blocks foul smell coming from the room after which he tried to find the reason. Later he discovered that the room was locked from inside.Police reached the spotAdarsh attempted to open the door but failed after which he called the police and informed them about the entire incident. The police, after reaching the spot, broke the door of the room to find out the cause of the smell. The police saw that the body of the girl living in the room was found hanging from the fan. They then put down the body and was sent for post-mortem.What did the police sayAs per the police statement, the deceased has been recognised as Anika Sahu. She has been residing alone in the flat for the last two months and used to work in a shop. According to Bijnor Inspector, the initial investigation suggests that the body was hanging for the last ten days. The real cause of the death would be revealed only after the post-mortem report is out.Love anglePolice said that during interrogation with the local people, the girl was in an affair. Her brother has demanded action against the culprits. He has asked the police to investigate her call details to get a better picture of what could have possibly happened.
