National News: After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan has been furious with India's response and is constantly threatening. Former Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit, while talking to a news channel, claimed that India would attack Pakistan and it will also express his estimate on what will be its time.

Basit claims on India's action

Talking to Pakistan's ABN news channel, Abdul Basit said, "I have no doubt that India will definitely take any action, because Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently made a statement in Bihar that he will take action in any situation." Referring to the 2016 Uri attack, he said, "After that India pretended a surgical strike."

Basit threatened on water issue

Basit also put the side of Pakistan on the Indus Water Agreement and said, "If India stops the water supply to Pakistan, it would be very difficult for us. If water will not flow in the river, the bleeding will flow." According to him, the water problem can take the form of a serious crisis for Pakistan.

India's attack time: Basit estimates

On the question of the Pakistani anchor, Basit said, "India will definitely attack, it is certain. It may be today, tomorrow or a week later. We saw that India took action in 12 days after the Pulwama attack, and India did a surgical strike in 8-9 days even after the Uri attack. Their record is that he reactions in 8-12 days."

Basit's estimate: India's action date

He further said that if we look at this pattern, the attack in Pahalgam on April 22 may be the time of action between May 1-3. Basit warned, "If India takes any action, Pakistan is fully prepared and we will also retaliate on our behalf." It is clear from Basit's statement that Pakistan is mentally prepared for possible military action from India. However, the question also arises as to how India's strategy and response responds to Pakistan's threats.
