Baba Siddique shot in Mumbai: In a shocking incident, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique was shot in Mumbai on Thursday. The leader was reportedly hit by two bullets in the stomach and was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where his condition is said to be critical.

Although the situation was critical, his companions rushed him to the Lilavati hospital. However, to his misfortune he passed away before being treated upon by the doctors. Three rounds were fired which hit his stomach leadin him to his death.

According to police sources, the shooting occurred in the early hours, and Siddique was targeted at close range. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, but the authorities have moved swiftly, detaining two suspects who are now under interrogation.

Siddique remains in a critical condition
