Army built tank repari facility

This accident in Ladakh has happened at a time when just last month the army built a tank repair facility in Daulat Beg Oldi. Two tank repair facilities were established to strengthen military preparedness near the border with China in eastern Ladakh. One of these was built in Daulat Beg Oldi and the other in Nyoma. Established at an altitude of 14,500 feet, it is the world's highest tank repair facility. The army has deployed about 500 tanks here.

The incident underscores the perilous conditions faced by military personnel in the region, where unpredictable weather patterns and rugged terrain pose constant challenges.
