New Delhi: In a violent confrontation during an anti-encroachment operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district, at least five police officers, including a deputy superintendent, were injured on Saturday. The incident occurred when local residents resisted the demolition of an illegally constructed place of worship in the Nagari area of Hiranagar, officials reported.
