A Bangladesh MP who travelled to Kolkata for medical treatment earlier this month for medical treatment and then went missing has been murdered. Many big revelations are being made one after the other in the murder of Bangladesh MP Anwarul Azim. Kolkata Police says that after Bangladesh Awami League MP Anwarul Azim was strangled to death in his New Town flat on May 13, the accused cut the body into several pieces to save it from decomposition. After this, those pieces were kept in a special freezer.

Found murdered 

Bangladesh Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan on Wednesday announced that Anwarul Azim Anar, was found murdered in Kolkata. 

According to news agency ANI, Bangladeshi Home Minister said on Wednesday (22 May 2024) that Bangladesh Police has arrested three people in this connection. So far we have come to know that all the killers involved are Bangladeshi. It was a planned murder. We will soon tell the reason for the murder. Indian police is cooperating with us. 

Who was he? 

According to the website of the Parliament of Bangladesh, Anwarul Azim was a member of the Bangladesh Awami League. He was a three-time MP. Azim was a resident of Madhuganj in Khulna division. Apart from being an MP, he was also identified as a businessman and farmer. He was MP from Jhenaidah-4. Anwarul Azim had come to West Bengal for treatment. According to Kolkata Police, this is a premeditated murder. However, the reasons for the murder of Nawarul Azim are not yet known.

Tragic end

Bangladeshi MP Anwarul was first strangled to death by the accused. Then to ensure death he hit him on the head with a heavy object. Investigation revealed that the responsibility of disposing of the dead body was given to other people and those people were also Bangladeshi citizens. A rental car was hired through a broker, which the three killers started using from April 30. Evidence of this was also found at the driver's house.
