In a disturbing incident, Greater Noida police arrested a woman for allegedly killing her 6-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son. Authorities claim that the woman, overwhelmed by fear and personal turmoil, took the drastic step of ending her childrens lives.Past marriages and troubled relationshipsAccording to police, the woman was previously married to a Muslim man, with whom she had two children. Her first husband was jailed for a murder case, leading her to severe ties and move on. She later began living with a Hindu man and had a son with him.Recently, her first husband was released from jail and demanded she return to him. The thought of returning, coupled with fears for her current familys safety, pushed her to commit the crime.Strangulation and a failed suicide attemptPolice reports reveal that the woman strangled her two children at her home in Kheda Dharmpur village. She intended to end her life afterward but was interrupted when neighbours discovered her actions and informed the police. The childrens bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and the woman was arrested at the scene.Confession and court appearanceDuring interrogation, the woman confessed to the crime. She explained her dilemma, stating she feared her first husband would harm her, her current partner, and her children if she refused to return. She spared her third child, as she believed her current partner could care for him.The accused has been presented before the court, and further investigation is underway.
