Uttar Pradesh: A late night Police encounter in Noida sector-44 which made one criminal injured while other was arrested. The suspects fired at police first. This happened during routine check before being taken into custody for stolen items and illegal weapons which was recovered. 

Police retribution leaves one felonious injured

In a late- night hassle between Noida Sector- 39 Police and two fortified culprits, one was shot and injured while another was arrested following a chase. The incident passed during a routine police check near Sector- 44 on the night of February 27- 28, 2025. According to officers, a motorcycle approaching from Amity Roundabout was gestured to stop. still, rather of complying, the riders opened fire on the police and tried to flee towards Sector- 98.

Recovered stolen particulars and illegal munitions

In response, the police platoon pursued the suspects, performing in a retaliatory gunfight. During the exchange, one of the culprits sustained a pellet injury and was latterly linked as Vijay( 25), son of Dharmveer, a occupant of Saroorpur vill, Faridabad, Haryana. The alternate suspect, Naushad alias Tola( 22), son of Yusuf Malik, a occupant of Morna, Noida, was arrested during a digging operation.

Police recovered the following particulars from the culprits

  • A stolen Splendor motorcycle
  • Eight mobile phones snared from climbers in different areas of Noida
  • An illegal arm( country- made dynamo) with one live and one spent cartridge

History of snatching and road crimes

Authorities verified that both suspects are notorious culprits, primarily involved in snatching mobile phones from climbers before fleeing the scene. The injured suspect has been shifted to a sanitarium for treatment, while farther examinations into their felonious history and other possible involvements are underway.
