The farmers continued their 'Dilli Chalo' march from the Shambhu border, despite encountering tear gas shells at two border posts when demonstrators attempted to breach barricades. As they assembled near the border with Shambhu to get ready for the march, they were attacked with tear gas.
Amid the farmer's protest, Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij stated in a cover letter with ANI that the Punjab government's alleged letter urged them not to send drones across borders. He added that farmers in Amritsar never attempted to impede their migration. He continued by adding that their goal is for the farmers to terrorize Delhi. He mentioned one of the DSPs and twenty-five other police officers getting hurt in the ongoing stone-pelting.

Samyukt Kisan Morcha leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, leader of Bhartiya Kisan Union (Sidhupur), and Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee coordinator Sarwan Singh Pandher's main demand is that laws guaranteeing minimum support prices (MSP) for all crops be passed per the Dr. Swaminathan Commission's recommendations.
