Another heinous crime has been reported from Bihars Kaimur where on Friday night a young man was sacrificed in Maa Kali temple by slitting his throat with a knife. The deceased has been identified as Pankaj Kumar (23), son of Suchit Ram of Sonra village adjacent to Belav village. The incident has initiated a stir among residents of the area. A large number of people gathered at the incident spot soon after.According to the preliminary investigation, the reason for the incident has said to be a love affair.Soon after getting the information about the incident, the Belav police intervened and took the body into possession. Bhabua SDPO Shivshankar Kumar reached the spot, when the family denied giving the dead body, demanding the arrest of the murderers and the death penalty. The body was taken into custody after police assured of strict action against the accused. The family members claimed that at about six in the morning on Saturday, they learned about the occurrence from the residents of Belav village. The boy and the girl from the same village were involved in a love affair and they both got married in Maharashtra. A few days back, the boy arrived. He went to Belav on Friday to buy vegetables but did not come back home. He was killed by having his throat slashed with a knife by the village girls family.On receiving information about the incident, several leaders and workers including the district president of the Bhim Army reached the incident spot.Bhabua SDPO Shivshankar Kumar while speaking to the media said that the youth was murdered in a love affair. Two suspects have been arrested. The body has been sent to Bhabua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Meanwhile, the police have started an investigation for further action in the case.
