Aggarwal hit back, sarcastically inviting Kamra to “come and help us out” and offered to pay him more than what he allegedly earned from “this paid tweet or his failed comedy career.” (X)
New Delhi: In a fresh virtual feud, Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal and comedian Kunal Kamra locked horns on X (formerly Twitter), after Kamra questioned the quality of Ola's electric scooters. The heated online exchange escalated quickly when Kamra posted a photo of scooters outside an Ola service center and voiced concerns over the condition of the vehicles, writing, “Do Indian consumers have a voice? Do they deserve this?”

Bhavish Aggarwal, furious over Kamra’s remarks, accused the comedian of making “paid posts” to tarnish Ola’s reputation. Aggarwal hit back, sarcastically inviting Kamra to “come and help us out” and offered to pay him more than what he allegedly earned from “this paid tweet or his failed comedy career.” Aggarwal’s retort, however, sidestepped Kamra’s concerns regarding customer service and the state of Ola scooters.
Since you care so much @kunalkamra88, come and help us out! I’ll even pay more than you earned for this paid tweet or from your failed comedy career.
— Bhavish Aggarwal (@bhash) October 6, 2024
Or else sit quiet and let us focus on fixing the issues for the real customers. We’re expanding service network fast and backlogs… https://t.co/ZQ4nmqjx5q
Not one to back down, Kamra responded swiftly, demanding proof that his tweet was paid and challenging Aggarwal to provide refunds for dissatisfied customers. “If you can prove I’m paid, I’ll delete all my social media,” Kamra said, adding that customers deserve accountability, not insults.
Paid tweet, failed comedy career & Sit quietly.

The argument continued with Aggarwal sarcastically offering Kamra a job at an Ola service center, while Kamra countered by suggesting refunds for customers facing issues with their scooters. Despite the heated exchange, the matter of improving customer service remained unresolved. This latest social media spat highlights the growing role of online platforms in airing public grievances, with high-profile individuals using their influence to spark discussions on consumer rights.
Chot lagi? Dard hua? Aaja service center. Bahut kaam hai. I will pay better than your flop shows pay you.

Show your audience how much you truly care and whether you’re only gas and BS. https://t.co/yEvxhoGTvR
Instead can you give a total refund to anyone who wants to return their OLA EV & who’s purchased it in the last 4 months?
— Kunal Kamra (@kunalkamra88) October 6, 2024
I don’t need your money people not being able to get to their workplace need your accountability.
Show your customers that you truly care? https://t.co/tI2dwZT2n2
We have enough programs for our customers if they face service delays. If you were a genuine one, you would have known.
— Bhavish Aggarwal (@bhash) October 6, 2024
Again, don’t try and back out of this. Come and do some real work rather than armchair criticism. https://t.co/HFFKgsl7d9
So you can’t offer a 100 percent refund to people who have purchased your OLA in the last 4 months who are genuine customers…
— Kunal Kamra (@kunalkamra88) October 6, 2024
But you want to pay me who’s not a costumer.
