Exploring the dark web: Lonavala Police arrest 15 involved in p*rnograhpy, operation spread across India, Nepal

The cops have arrested 15 persons from Bangalow in Lonavala. In addition to this, they have also seized cameras, 16 cellphones, laptops, condoms, shilajit, all worth Rs 6.72 lakh.

The Pune rural police conducted an investigation into the arrest of eighteen people for allegedly producing p*rnographic films at a home in the Lonavala area. The investigation found that the racket is widespread throughout the nation, even has reach in Nepal.
According to the police, the primary accused, Vishnu, a 35-year-old Kolkata resident, is accused of producing p*rnographic videos for S*xfantasy, a production firm.

As per revelations, he had employed additional accused individuals from Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Maharashtra, Delhi, and Uttarakhand. They included makeup artists, camera operators, light technicians, and five women and a few males who performed in the films, according to the police.

After investigation, it is revealed that this racket allegedly earned money as it was involved in selling these films to the websites. Police informed that accused also used to sell these videos to social media platforms and mobile apps. They allegedly earned money though ‘subscription charges.’

The cops have arrested 15 persons including five women and few men from the site. In addition to this, they have also seized cameras, 16 cellphones, laptops, condoms, shilajit, all worth Rs 6.72 lakh. 

They have been booked under sections 292, 293, 34 of the IPC, sections of the Information Technology Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986 but later were released on bail.
