The famous Rameshwaram Café which faced the shock of the minor blast a couple of months back, is making headlines once again, but not for a good reason. The Food and Safety Department of Telangana has been conducting inspections at several restaurants across Hyderabad for the past few days and as part of the checkup visited the Madhapur area of the city. The department also alleged that Medical Fitness Certificates for Food Handlers were also not available. The investigators also reported, uncovered dustbins and synthetic Food Colours that were discarded on the spot. Heavy cockroach infestation observed in the kitchen and cockroaches were found on food articles inside the store room. Semi-prepared and raw food were not stored properly in the refrigerator.
