The Archeological Survey of India (ASI) is all set to present its survey report in the historic Bhojshala in Madhya Pradesh in the Indore bench of MP High Court. According to one of the major developments, the ASI team has found some important evidences of the existence of a temple in Bhojshala. What did ASI find in BhojshalaDuring the excavation, ASI has found more than 1700 evidences. 37 idols of gods and goddesses have been found during the excavation. Bhojshala is located in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.According to the reports, ASI will present the meticulously prepared report and the next hearing on the entire matter will take place on July 22. It is important to note that the ASI was continuously trying to collect all the evidence and some proofs of Bhojshala have been found there. The survey of ASI was going on for the past few months in Bhojshala after the high court passed the orders to conduct a scientific survey on the entire matter. The surveys historical and cultural significance, has received a lot of attention. It is anticipated that the reports presentation will offer significant new perspectives on the historical significance of the site and direct the courts decision-making. The idols discovery has heightened interest in the case and brought attention to how crucial it is to preserve and comprehend Bhojshalas unique cultural past.Hindus will get a place to worshipAfter Mathura, Madhya Pradeshs Bhojshala is likely to be opened for Hindus. However, Muslims have been offering Namaaz for a long time.Noteworthy here is that this historical decision will come after the Pran Pratishtha of Ramlala in Ayodhya which was the subject of controversy with Gyanvapi for years. Hindus will now have the opportunity to pray in Dhars Bhojshala following the commencement of worship in Bhojshala. While the Muslim side refers to this complex as Kamal Maulana Masjid, the Hindu side regards Bhojshala as the temple of Goddess Saraswati. Hindus claim that Muslims were granted permission to offer Namaaz here for a brief period of time during the dynasty period. The Muslim community, however, claims that they have been serving Namaaz there for many years. The two parties have been at odds about this for a very long time. Now, throughout the study, more than 1700 archaeological remains were discovered. There are 37 gods represented by the statues, including Lord Shiva, Lord Brahma, and Lord Krishna. The broken idol of Vaag Devi was discovered in the Bhojshala survey excavation. The photos and videos will also be turned in to the court by the investigating department. The national and state governments have also been provided access to the Bhojshala survey report. When did the controversy escalateThe controversy once again escalated in the year 1997, after which the entry of common citizens was banned at Bhojshala. Hindus were allowed to worship only on Vasant Panchami and Muslims were allowed to offer Namaaz on Fridays between 1 to 3 pm. After this, in the year 2003, permission was again given to perform regular worship and Bhojshala was also opened to tourists. Later, carrying the banner of the Hindu Front for Justice, the Hindu side filed a petition in the court demanding full rights for Hindus to worship. Following this, after hearing the petition, the court also sought a response from the state government, the Center and the ASI. During the hearing, the ASI said that the Bhojshala survey was done and now it is not needed afresh. The Muslim side also denied the need for the survey they highlighted that on the basis of the last decision only they started offering namaz. Despite all this, the Hindu side remained adamant on its demand, after which on March 11, the court issued an order for a survey in Bhojshala of Dhar on the lines of Gyanvapi. On March 11, the Indore High Court ordered ASI to conduct a survey within a radius of 500 meters in Bhojshala. This survey was conducted from March 22 to June 27. In this survey, the help of ground penetrating radar and a global positioning system was taken. ASI had to present the important report of Bhojshala in the High Court on July 4. Due to the report not being ready, the High Court had given 10 days extra time to ASI, which was completed on July 14. Now, people will keep an eye on the verdict that will be pronounced by the bench of Indore High Court on July 22.
