Aavruti Naithani, who is now serving as a judicial judge in Patna, tearfully bid farewell to her husband in Kanpur. "Sudhir, we are proud of you. Whatever you did for your job is commendable. Our lives have become incomplete without you. This emptiness can never be filled. You have made us cry forever". We are fine, but wherever you are, take care of yourself," she said, her voice trembling with sorrow. The couple had been married for just 10 months.
Captain Sudhir was the product of a proud family which was dedicated to the nation. His father is a retired soldier, and his elder brother is an officer in the Indian Air Force. His uncle recalled, "Sudhir was a very cheerful and loved one. Any time he came home he would keep on talking emotionally about his work. The native village of Sudhir is in lamentation. This is the place of Harikisanpur in Shivli, Kanpur Dehat district.
Captain Sudhir Yadav was one of three people killed in the helicopter crash in Porbandar last Sunday. The information about the calamity left his house in Shyam Nagar, Kanpur, shrouded in sorrow.
