ED raids at Arvind Kejriwal's residence after Delhi HC denies arrest safeguard in case

Details state that ED officers went to Kejriwal's home to deliver a summons in connection with the matter. Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, was questioned by a team from the Enforcement Directorate on March 21 in the evening over the excise policy case.

After the Delhi High Court denied him protection from coercive action in a money laundering case involving excise policies, the ED took the following action of raiding his residence. Details state that ED officers went to Kejriwal's home to deliver a summons in connection with the matter. Kejriwal has already disregarded the agency's several summonses in the matter.

Kejriwal's residence undergoes a raid!

The team disclosed that there is a search warrant at Kejriwal's residence for the chief minister's staff. According to sources, the ED is allegedly searching Kejriwal's property in connection with the Delhi liquor policy issue. They also mentioned that after the searches are finished, the AAP convenor will be brought to the ED headquarters for questioning. Judges Suresh Kumar Kait and Manoj Jain of the Delhi High Court declined to offer Kejriwal any protection from coercive action in the case earlier on Thursday.

AAP party workers have started protesting outside the residence of the Delhi CM, opposing the ED's raid.

Meanwhile, the Rapid Action Force (RAF) is stationed outside Arvind's home to prevent ruckus outside the home. 

AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj reaches recidence 

AAP politician and Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj arrived at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's home after the raid's announcment.  A team from the Enforcement Directorate had arrived at Kejriwal's home to question him.

No entry seems to be the norm in this raid! as Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj stated that the raid is going on based on the fact that police are inside and no one is permitted to enter.

Delhi BJP President speaks on the scam and raid in hand 

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, on the raid at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's residence being raided, stated that the Delhi CM had plundered the people of Delhi and carried out the task of heckling the city with a scam involving the liquor policy. Therefore, he is bearing the repercussions of theft, corruption, or public deception that he has committed.

AAP leader Atishi comments on the raid!

According to her statement, she alleges that the BJP is the ED's boss and that they have no regard for the legal system. According to her they are there to detain Arvind Kejriwal as part of a political plot.

AAP and hearing

The AAP leader's primary petition challenging the summons is scheduled for a hearing on April 22. The bench requested that the ED submit its response and listed the leader's application for further consideration. According to specifics, the lawsuit concerns suspected money laundering and corruption during the development and implementation of the Delhi government's excise strategy for 2021–2022, which was subsequently abandoned. As defendants in the case, AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh are currently being held in judicial custody.
