While speaking at the virtual address at the G20 University Connect event, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar highlighted that the G20 Summit under Indias presidency is special and different. Jaishankar underlined that it is because of the substantial outcomes of the G20 Summit that the world recognises Indias convening power.Jaishankar facilitated the gathering virtually as he is currently in New York to participate in the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Almost 3,000 students, faculty members and Vice Chancellors of the participating Universities attended the virtual event.While speaking at the event Jaishankar hailed the G20 Presidency under India. He said, “Our G20 presidency is special…it is different. We succeeded in taking the G20 out of the capital city and its convention centres and made it a mass movement. Jaishankar also underlined the substantial outcomes of G20 Summit.
