Drunk youths brutally beat police officer in uniform, VIDEO surfaces

New Delhi: In a shocking incident which emerged from Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar, a group of youths created chaos late Tuesday evening, culminating in an altercation with a police officer. The trouble began when a fight broke out among the youths at Meenakshi Chowk. When police arrived to restore order, the situation escalated as the youths, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, turned on the officers.

Incident caught on camera, goes viral

The altercation was captured on a bystander's mobile phone and quickly went viral on social media. The video shows the youths misbehaving and pushing the police officers who were trying to calm the situation. This blatant disrespect for law enforcement drew widespread attention and condemnation.

Five individual arrested 

Upon receiving reports of the incident, senior police officers promptly arrived at the scene with additional force. They arrested five individuals identified as Akshay Baliyan, Akshay Kumar, Nikki, Nikunj, and Gaurav. The police have begun further action against these individuals to address the disturbance and ensure justice.

The Civil Line Police Station had received a call about the brawl at Meenakshi Chowk late Tuesday evening. According to the police, their attempts to stop the fighting youths were met with resistance and aggression. The viral video has played a significant role in bringing immediate attention to the incident, prompting rapid intervention from higher authorities.
