Double tremors: Baramulla shaken by two consecutive earthquakes

Early Tuesday morning, the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir was rattled by two consecutive earthquakes, as reported by the National Center for Seismology (NCS). The first tremor, with a magnitude of 4.9 on the Richter scale, struck at approximately 6:45 am. This was soon followed by a second quake, measuring 4.8 in magnitude and occurring at a depth of around 10 km.
