UP crime (X)
In a shocking incident from Nagla Dhanua village in Raya, Uttar Pradesh, a 17-year-old boy allegedly murdered a milkman with an axe after discovering his mother’s extramarital affair. The victim, identified as Pankaj, was found dead near milestone 115 on the Yamuna Expressway in the Mahavan police station area.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shailesh Kumar Pandey, the boy’s mother was involved in a relationship with Pankaj, who was also the nephew of the village head. The teenage son, outraged by his mother’s actions and Pankaj's visits to their home, repeatedly warned the milkman to stop meeting his mother. Despite the warnings, Pankaj continued to visit, escalating tensions between the boy and his mother.
On November 16, the teenager invited Pankaj for a drink, using it as a pretext to execute his plan. After consuming alcohol together, they set off on separate motorcycles. During the journey, the boy attacked Pankaj with an axe, inflicting fatal injuries to his head and neck. The postmortem confirmed that sharp weapon injuries caused Pankaj’s death.
Following the discovery of Pankaj's body, police launched an investigation and apprehended the accused minor. During questioning, the boy confessed to the murder and revealed the details of his crime. Authorities recovered the murder weapon and are proceeding with legal action. The minor will be presented before a juvenile magistrate.
The incident has left the village in shock, with residents grappling with the grim reality of the tragedy.
