New Delhi: In a startling revelation, the police station in Ballia district, situated on the UP-Bihar border, has been exposed for rampant corruption. The Assistant Director General and Deputy Inspector General (ADG-DIG) led a raid that uncovered a web of illicit activities within the station's premises. According to reports, the raid revealed a systematic operation involving the smuggling of liquor, cattle, and sand across state borders in exchange for bribes. The investigation further implicated 20 individuals, including three police personnel, who have been taken into custody for their alleged involvement in the illicit activities.

Suspended seven policemen
