Recently, the minor son of a Pune builder fatally struck two engineers with a speeding Porsche at midnight. This incident has raised serious questions about the police administration and the doctors involved. Two doctors have even been arrested for discarding the minor's blood sample.

Allegations of Political Interference

New developments have implicated Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and two associates in allegedly interfering with police actions to protect the builder's son. It is claimed that the son was intoxicated during the accident on May 19. Allegedly, Ajit Pawar called the Pune Police Commissioner, urging leniency towards businessman Vishal Aggarwal's son.

Fatal Accident

Both engineers from Madhya Pradesh died instantly in the accident. Ajit Pawar has denied making the call in favor of the builder’s son, stating he only advised the Commissioner to act impartially due to the potential influence of the builder's wealth.

Here's what Ajit Pawar said?

Ajit Pawar stated, "As the minister in charge of the district, I had to call the police commissioner. I told him to take action without succumbing to any pressure." MLA Sunil Tingre, also involved, admitted to visiting the police station at 3 AM, claiming he advised the police to act without pressure.

Public Skepticism

Despite these claims, questions persist. Critics ask why Ajit Pawar remained silent for four days and why only Devendra Fadnavis addressed the media post-meeting with police officials, given Pawar's role as the minister in charge of Pune.
