Jharkhand News: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday launched a scathing attack on Jharkhands ruling Mahagathbandhan alliance, accusing it of fostering Naxalism and corruption. Addressing an election rally in Dhanbad, Adityanath alleged that the alliance, comprising the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Congress, and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), was exploiting the state and pushing it towards chaos.Looting Jharkhand and Promoting Naxalism: Yogi Adityanath slams Opposition Speaking to the crowd, Adityanath said, “On one hand, they (Mahagathbandhan) are looting Jharkhand and on the other, this corrupt government is trying to promote leftists to turn it into a den of Naxals. I have come to appeal to you to not let them flourish.” He accused the alliance of misleading people and jeopardizing the states progress.Adityanath expressed confidence in the BJPs chances, highlighting favorable trends from the first phase of voting, which covered 43 of Jharkhands 81 assembly seats. “Jharkhand has decided to oust the Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD),” he said, asserting that the BJP would secure an absolute majority.Opposition to Jharkhands FormationAdityanath also reminded the audience of the Congress and RJDs opposition to the creation of Jharkhand. “When Jharkhand was being developed, I was a Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur. They (Congress and RJD) were opposing Jharkhand. Now, along with the JMM, they are trying to mislead the people,” he stated.Adityanath took aim at the Mahagathbandhan for allegedly enabling the influx of Bangladeshi and Rohingya refugees, a theme central to the BJPs campaign. He accused the Congress, RJD, and JMM of facilitating “land jihad” and urged voters to reject them. “The Congress, RJD, and JMM are here to loot you. They are letting Bangladeshis and Rohingyas indulge in land jihad,” he said. As Jharkhand gears up for the second phase of polling on November 20, the BJPs hardline narrative continues to dominate the campaign, with infiltration, Naxalism, and corruption at the forefront of their messaging.
