Democrats then? Nikki Haley predicts first party to drop their 80-year-old candidate will win

Nicky urged Republicans to remain unified during her speech at the Republican National Convention last week, saying that "for the sake of our nation, we have to go with Donald Trump." Biden plans to stay in the role until noon at the conclusion of his current term, which ends on January 20, 2025.

Before her unexpected May Trump endorsement, Nikki Haley made a significant statement criticizing the outgoing president. She declared earlier this year, when running against Trump for the Republican nomination, that the party fielding a younger candidate would prevail in the 2024 presidential election.

Haley, all the way!

Haley attacked 78-year-old Trump and 81-year-old Biden, saying that voters did not want to support them because of their seniority. In her speech following her defeat in the Republican primary in New Hampshire, the former governor of South Carolina said, "Most Americans do not want a repeat between Biden and Trump." Republican Voters Against Trump has released another video in which Haley is heard criticizing Trump and declaring that Harris will prevail if Harris and Trump square off.

Here's what she said

“The first party to retire its 80-year-old candidate is going to be the party that wins this election,” she added. Let us be honest with each other. Should Donald Trump emerge as the Republican nominee, Kamala Harris will lead the country as president. Take note of what I just said. "He is not able to win a general election," she said"Observe Iowa and New Hampshire." He is losing Republicans who say they do not want him and would vote for someone else, and he is having trouble winning over independents and suburban women. It is an issue, Haley said in a statement.

Biden's exit

Following Biden's exit from the race, Haley's comments have reappeared on social media, with Never-Trumpers endorsing Harris' campaign. With Harris, 59, as the strongest opponent of Trump, Biden quickly supported her in the run-up to the Democratic National Convention (DNC), which is scheduled for Chicago, Illinois, from August 19 to 22. Haley actively opposed Trump during the GOP primary and did not provide her endorsement to him, even after she withdrew from the race in the first part of March.

She did, however, proclaim in May that she would back him. She urged Republicans to remain unified during her speech at the Republican National Convention last week, saying that "for the sake of our nation, we have to go with Donald Trump." Biden plans to stay in the role until noon at the conclusion of his current term, which ends on January 20, 2025.
