A joint operation by the Delhi Police Crime Branch and Rajasthan Police has led to the detention of three individuals in connection with the murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the Delhi police said on Sunday.

Key suspects arrested for killing of Karni Sena chief

According to police statements, the main accused - Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji - were among those apprehended in Chandigarh on Sunday. Authorities are transporting all three suspects to Delhi as the investigation continues.

On Saturday, December 9, Jaipur police had arrested one Ramveer Singh, a resident of Mahendragarh, Haryana, for allegedly facilitating the attack. As per officials, two gunmen - Rathore and Fauji - carried out the fatal shooting at Gogamedi’s Delhi residence.

According to a statement by the Jaipur Police Commissioner, Hindu leader Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was killed on December 5th by gunmen Nitin Fauji and Rohit Rathod, who fired indiscriminately at Gogamedi's Shyam Nagar residence.

The commissioner alleged that accused Ramveer Singh had facilitated the attack by helping arrange logistics for key suspect Nitin Fauji in Jaipur.
