National News: The weather has deteriorated in Delhi-NCR for the last two days. Somewhere there is a strong thunderstorm, it is raining somewhere, due to which people are upset. On Thursday, Noida, Ghaziabad and several districts of western Uttar Pradesh received strong dust storm and rain. After this, there was a strong thunderstorm late in the evening on Friday and after that it started raining. Trees have fallen in many areas due to this storm and rain.
Traffic situation has also deteriorated in many places and the traffic police is busy removing trees lying on the road so that there is no hindrance in traffic. Hundreds of trees fell on the roadside on Lodhi Road in Delhi. These old and big trees fell due to strong wind. Delhi Police personnel reached the spot and removed these trees.
Dusty thunderstorms took place in many areas
A policeman of Lodhi police station said that information about falling trees is being received from many places. At one place, a tree fell on a person walking on foot, injuring him. He is immediately admitted to the hospital. The Meteorological Department had already predicted that there would be thunderstorms and light rain in Delhi-NCR on Friday. The meteorological department's estimate turned out to be correct and suddenly the weather deteriorated on Friday. Dusty thunderstorms took place in many areas including Najafgarh, Palam, Dwarka, Uttamnagar, Mahipalpur, Dhaulayan and Airport in Delhi, which slowed down the speed of vehicles. Many people parked their vehicles on the side of the road and waited for the storm to stop. The same situation happened in Noida. The strong dust storm rose electricity in most parts of Noida and the speed of vehicles on the roads also slowed down. People also started feeling difficult to walk.
Meteorological Department's forecast, thunderstorm and light rain effect
The Meteorological Department had already predicted thunderstorms and light rain, which proved to be correct on Friday. Light drizzle occurred in Delhi on Thursday night and there was some decrease in temperature. On Thursday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 22.8 degrees Celsius, which was 1.8 degrees above the average temperature of this season. This drizzle gave relief in temperature and Delhiites could feel some relief from the scorching heat for the last few days. The effect of heat was visible from March this year. By April, the summer had created a situation like May-June, causing people to wonder what would happen in May and June if it is in April. On Monday, the maximum temperature in Delhi reached 40 degrees Celsius, causing the heat situation for three consecutive days.
Rain became trouble for farmers, wheat crop
On Wednesday, the hottest night was recorded in three years and the minimum temperature reached 25.9 degrees Celsius.
