Delhi: Married DGCA official rapes female pilot for two years in pretext of marriage; What happened later will SHOCK you

New Delhi: Delhi Police have arrested a Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) officer after a female pilot accused him of sexually assaulting her over a two-year period under the pretext of marriage. The officer, identified as Siraj Farooqui, is already married. Based on the pilot’s complaint, an FIR was registered at the Safdarjung Enclave police station, and Farooqui was taken into custody.

Accusations of deception and manipulation

According to the victim’s statement, she first met Farooqui in June 2022 when he was working for an aviation company. At the time, the woman was undergoing pilot training. Farooqui, who now serves as a Senior Flight Operation Inspector at DGCA, allegedly deceived her into believing that he was divorcing his second wife to marry her. He falsely assured her that his marriage was in the process of dissolution.

Physical relationships built on false promises

The pilot alleges that in July 2022, Farooqui took her to a renowned hotel in Hyderabad, where they engaged in physical relations. She repeatedly asked about the status of his divorce, only to discover later that he had not even initiated the divorce proceedings with his second wife. For two years, Farooqui allegedly exploited the promise of marriage to maintain the relationship. When the victim began to distance herself from him, Farooqui allegedly threatened her, claiming he would ruin her career in the airline industry if she refused to stay in the relationship. She also revealed that Farooqui’s wife was complicit in this manipulation, pretending to support the potential marriage.
