New Delhi: In a heart-wrenching turn of events, a young man from the Shastri Park area of Delhi was brutally murdered on Saturday evening while trying to protect his sister. The victim, who was not identified by name, succumbed to multiple stab wounds inflicted by a group of assailants.
Late on Saturday, the victim confronted the miscreants in a bid to defend his sister. The confrontation escalated quickly, leading to the young man's tragic death. Upon receiving reports of the stabbing, Delhi Police promptly arrived at the scene. They took the victim's body into their custody and have since sent it for a postmortem examination.
In response to the incident, the Delhi Police have arrested the principal suspect along with one accomplice. A search is ongoing for three additional suspects believed to be involved in the attack. The police have filed a case under relevant murder sections against all accused parties.
