Delhi: Lover enters minor girl's house, murders her mother in broad daylight; Here's why

In a devastating turn of events in Delhi's Jahangirpuri, a teenage boy, driven by one-sided love, entered the home of a girl he had previously kidnapped and fatally shot her mother. The accused, who had fled after kidnapping the girl from Nepal, was arrested by the police following an extensive search.

In the aftermath of the kidnapping, the victim's family endured incessant threats from the perpetrator, compelling them to comply with his demands under the shadow of fear. Despite lodging complaints, the family alleged that the authorities failed to take preemptive measures, leaving them vulnerable to further harm.

Manhunt for culprits underway

Law enforcement agencies are currently on the hunt for the principal suspect along with two other minors implicated in the grievous crime. History of harassment uncovered

The victim's family disclosed that the accused had previously abducted the girl on two occasions, prompting them to seek police intervention to repatriate her from Nepal. Despite their efforts to shield their daughter, the family continued to endure threats and harassment from the perpetrator.

Sustained threats and intimidation

Driven by obsession, the accused persistently harassed the victim and her family, issuing explicit threats and insisting on marrying the girl against her will. While refraining from formally filing a case earlier to safeguard the girl's well-being, the family had reported the harassment to the police official. 

Family members stated that her father, who owned a shop in the area, wanted to teach the girl. The minor accused used to follow the girl while she was going for tuition. He used to molest and misbehave with her. After getting information about this, father or mother used to drop him for tuition. During this time, the family members tried to convince the accused to refrain from such activity but he used to threaten him. After this, he kidnapped the girl and took her to Nepal.
