In a recent move, the Delhi High Court has directed Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal to remove video recordings of her husband addressing a Delhi court from her social media accounts. In addition to this, the social media platforms are also directed to pull down posts linked to the video.

Apart from this, the court has also issued notice to all parties including Sunita Kejriwal, and several individuals for violating the rules of the court’s video conferencing room when AAP leader and chief minister of Delhi was presented before the court in Delhi Excise policy case on March 28.

The development was a response to a petition that was filed before Delhi High court seeking the litigation of an FIR against her for sharing the video excerpts on various social media handles.

The matter will now be heard on July 9.
