In a tragic incident in Delhi’s Bawana area, a 20-year-old man and his 17-year-old friend were allegedly stabbed to death by four minors following an altercation over reckless bike riding, officials reported on Thursday.

The confrontation occurred in G-Block, JJ Colony, when the victims were riding their bike in a "zig-zag manner" down a local road. Four minor boys, who took issue with their riding style, stopped the pair. An argument quickly ensued, leading to a physical altercation between the two groups.

According to police reports, during the clash, two of the four minors attacked the young men with a knife, resulting in severe injuries. Bystanders rushed the victims to a nearby hospital, but both succumbed to their injuries shortly afterward.

Juvenile suspects taken into custody

The police have detained the four minors involved in the fatal incident, aged 15, 16, and 13 years. They face charges of murder, and authorities have initiated proceedings under the Juvenile Justice Act.

A case has been registered, and investigations are underway to understand the events leading up to this tragic incident.
